Youth Activities Starting January 2012
Wednesday Evenings – Midweek break
Need a pause from homework and sports practice? Come to church for fun, games, activities, and a chance to hang out with some of your favorite friends! Meet at 6:30pm in the Youth Room! (Middle and Senior High Youth)
Sunday Evenings- LOL (Lessons on Life)
Want to go a little deeper? Than this is for you, a chance to get together and talk about real issues of faith and life. We meet at Pastor Katie’s apartment (above Kilwins downtown) from 7-8:15pm.
Youth Music (sunday mornings)
6th-12th graders are invited to join our Youth Praise Band, which practices at 9:15am. The youth praise band performs once a month during Family Worship. It's also a great time to hang with Mr. Eric!
BIG Fellowship and BIG Mission
In addition to all of the awesome activities on Wednesday night, once a month there's a chance to be part of something BIG! Check the calendar below to see what BIG Fellowship and BIG Mission event are planned for this month! This is the time to bring lots of friends!
Confirmation
This class is offered to give students entering 7th or 8th grade an overview of the Christian faith culminating in a personal affirmation of their faith in Jesus Christ. In class we discuss topics such as knowing God, understanding God as Father, Son, and Spirit; discipleship, Christian disciplines (such as prayer and worship) and the history of the worldwide church. We also take field trips in order to experience a variety of different worship experiences. Older teens who have not yet had the opportunity to participate in a Confirmation class are also welcome. Below is our 2010 Confirmation Class! Our 2012 Class is currently meeting!
Our next round of Confirmation will begin Sunday January 29th at 9:15am
