Being Christian involves lifelong learning about our relationship with our dynamic, living God and the service God calls us to engage in.

Sunday Morning Bible Class

Each Sunday morning adults are invited to an engaging, challenging, illuminating study of either a book of the Bible or a topic relevant to Christian growth and maturity. If you are new, please ask and we’ll be glad to direct you to the Adult Bible Class. Sundays, September through May, from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m.

Women’s Book Club

Join us in an energetic discussion of a book, sometimes fiction, sometimes non-fiction, led by one of our regular members and chosen for its interest to all. Upcoming discussions are listed in our weekly worship bulletin and church newslettter. This group meets on the last Tuesday of each month from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Greeting Room.

Wednesday Evenings

Our Wednesday evening programming is for the whole family. Dinner begins at 5:45 p.m. and all are invited. Adult classes are offered either on a book of the Bible or a faith-related issue that helps us connect our Christian faith with our daily lives. Be prepared to engage! Class is from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Kids Connection meets at this time for children K-5th grade as well as our nursery for the littlest ones. Kids Connection begins with a 30-minute activity/video and ends with 30 minutes of Kids Connection Choir.

Women’s Bible Study

Women of all ages are invited to dive deeper into the Bible! We meet September thru May on Thursdays from from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the church. During the summer this groups meets only once a month. Please contact the church office for dates, times, and locations of those summer gatherings.

Men’s Ministry

Twice a month we offer the men of our church the opportunity to gather for breakfast—we take turns in the kitchen!—for either a faith-challenging study or a guest speaker. This has proven to be a very rich experience for many. All men are welcome to join us. Typically we meet on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays from 8:00 – 9:30 a.m.

Fellowship Opportunities

Women’s Fellowship

Over the years the women of our church have filled an indispensable role, providing a setting for the growth of friendships, providing outreach support for groups in and outside of our community, and engaging in fund-earning activities, the profits from which are poured back into the church’s life and ministry. Our Women’s Fellowship has several different expressions, some age-related, some not. You’re invited to explore these groups by calling the church office.

Mary Martha Circle

Mary Martha Circle meets September – May (except January & February) on the second Tuesday of each month at 1:30 p.m. in the Greeting Room. Their service projects include: Donations to the Morgan Scott Project in Tennessee, Christmas gifts for cancer patients and Christmas cookies for the homebound.

Mary Preston Guild

Mary Preston Guild meets September – May on the second Wednesday of each month at 1:00 p.m. in the Greeting Room. Their discussion varies each month with guest speakers. They also supply cookies for Sunday Fellowship Hour throughout the year.
