called to care
Ever concerned with caring for one another, our Called to Care ministry consists of people who visit those who find it difficult or impossible to leave their homes or other residences, as well as those needing meals while recovering at home from surgery or illness.

young at hearts

Each month our retirees enjoy lunch and a program. The lunch is prepared and served by people in our church. The programs include musical entertainment, nature education, health information, and a variety of other presentations. We typically meet in our church's Fellowship Hall, but we've been known to take special trips to local places of interest (and fun!). Young at Hearts meets monthly on the Third Thursday, 12 noon till around 1:30 or so. Reservations are requested.  Just call the Church Office: 983-5519

ADULT PROGRAMS

Being Christian involves lifelong learning about our relationship with our dynamic, living God and the service God calls us to engage in.

Sunday Morning – Each Sunday morning adults are invited to an engaging, challenging, illuminating study of either a book of the Bible or a topic relevant to Christian growth and maturity. An alternate discussion is often held in the adjoining Parlor. If you are new, ASK! We'll be glad to direct you. Sundays, September through May, from 9:15 - 10:15 a.m. Dr. Thompson's last class is May 10th; Tom Fowler's last class May 17th.

Wednesday Evenings – Frequently throughout the May-to-September year, Dr. Bob hosts a lecture/discussion time either on a book of the Bible or a faith-related issue that helps us connect our Christian faith with our daily lives. Be prepared to engage! Wednesdays, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Women - Book Study – Women of all ages are welcome to join us.

  • An energetic discussion of a book, sometimes fiction, sometimes non-fiction, led by one of our regular members and chosen for its interest to us all. Upcoming discussions are listed in our weekly worship bulletin and on our Church Calendar on this website. Tuesdays, 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.

 women's fellowship
Over the years the women of our church have filled an indispensable role, providing a setting for the growth of friendships, providing outreach support for groups in and outside of our community, and engaging in fund-earning activities, the profits from which are poured back into the church’s life and ministry. Our Women's Fellowship has several different expressions, some age-related, some not. You're invited to explore these groups by calling the Church Office.

men's ministry

Twice a month we offer the men of our church the opportunity to gather for breakfast—we take turns in the kitchen!—for either a faith-challenging study or a guest speaker. This has proven to be a very rich experience for many. All men are welcome to join us. The specific Saturdays vary with other church activities and life commitments. Please check the calendar for the specific Saturdays, 8:00 - 9:30 a.m.
